Peoria Teen Arrested with Stolen Firearm

PEORIA, IL – A Peoria police officer encountered a male juvenile near Lincoln and Western on Friday around 12:45 p.m., discovering a stolen handgun in his possession. 

According to police reports the juvenile was promptly arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Use of a Weapon Under 21, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. He was then taken to the Juvenile Detention Center without any incident.
