Empowerment Through Defense: Frankfort Park District Offers Women’s Self-Defense Class

Frankfort, IL – The Frankfort Park District is hosting a Women’s Self-Defense class aimed at empowering local women with the skills to protect themselves. 

The class, scheduled for May 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, is open to participants 16 years and older. With a registration fee of $40 for residents and $45 for non-residents, the course at Founders Community Center will be led by Sensei David Smith, a 6th Degree Black Belt. Attendees are encouraged to wear loose-fitting clothes and bring a water bottle. 

The program not only focuses on self-defense techniques but also on awareness and conflict avoidance. For more information, visit www.frankfortparks.org.
