Frankfort, IL – Residential and downtown areas are witnessing a concerning rise in speeding incidents, prompting the local police department to issue a community-wide alert. 

With a speed limit of 25 MPH in these zones, the Frankfort Police Department is appealing to drivers to slow down and be more vigilant to ensure the safety of children, pedestrians, bicyclists, and pets.
