Frankfort’s Annual Lighting of the Green to Illuminate Breidert Green with Festive Celebration

Frankfort, IL — The Village of Frankfort is preparing to host its Annual Lighting of the Green event on November 30 at 6:30 p.m. on Breidert Green. 

This festive occasion is free to the public and will feature the Hickory Creek Middle School Choir. A highlight of the evening will be a grand countdown to the lighting of the holiday tree. Mayor Keith Ogle, in a recent release, expressed enthusiasm about the event, noting its potential to create lasting memories. 

Attendees can look forward to meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoying decorated public service vehicles. The village will also offer complimentary hot cocoa and cookies to enhance the holiday spirit.
