Mokena Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New Police Department Today

Mokena, IL – The Mokena Village Board of Trustees and Village Staff will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house for the new Mokena Police Department today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 10300 W. 191st Street.

According to the Mokena Police Department, remarks will be made by Mayor Frank A. Fleischer, Village Administrator John Tomasoski, and Chief of Police Brian Benton. The event will feature light refreshments and hotdogs from Joey’s Red Hots. Tours of the new facility will also be available.

104th Avenue will be closed at 1 p.m. to accommodate overflow parking. Additional parking and shuttle services will be provided from Village Hall, 11004 Carpenter Street, starting at 2:30 p.m.
