Shorewood Man Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Crash Involving School Bus with Students on Board

Shorewood, IL – A Shorewood man has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a fatal crash on Wednesday in Troy Township involving a stopped school bus with students on board.

According to the Will County Coroner, 50-year-old Jeffery Santora was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle collided with the back of the school bus. The crash also seriously injured a woman who was a passenger on the motorcycle; she was transported to a nearby hospital. No children on the bus were hurt, although it was carrying 15 students at the time.

The Will County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
