According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at 3:15 p.m. in the 13000 block of Sulpher Springs Road. The crash was reportedly caused by the bus driver suffering a medical episode, leading to a loss of control of the vehicle.

The bus, carrying five children, the driver, and an assistant, veered off the road, traveled through a ditch, and eventually struck a tree. The driver was promptly taken to a hospital for treatment. One child was also transported to the hospital as a precaution. The remaining children were safely returned to Adam’s School and reunited with their parents.
