Northern Indiana Weather Alert: Scattered Thunderstorms Expected Tonight

Fort Wayne, IN – Residents in Northern Indiana should prepare for scattered thunderstorms tonight, with temperatures forecasted to dip into the 50s. 

Today, the region will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms, maintaining seasonable temperatures into the evening. The National Weather Service reports that the South Bend International Airport recorded winds over 40 miles per hour yesterday, peaking at 43 mph. 

Looking ahead to Wednesday, expect early morning showers to taper off with decreasing clouds throughout the day, leading to a breezier and clearer afternoon.
