Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana residents are set to enjoy a pleasantly dry weekend with mild temperatures, but early next week will bring a shift towards more turbulent weather.

Today, temperatures will hover comfortably between the low 60s and mid-70s, with conditions remaining mainly dry into Monday, ideal for outdoor activities. The National Weather Service forecasts a change by Tuesday as a series of showers and thunderstorms are expected to roll in, increasing in severity into Wednesday. The storms are likely to initiate in Illinois and move northeast into Southwestern Lower Michigan and Northwestern Indiana.

With predictions of strong to severe thunderstorms particularly around midweek, residents should monitor updates closely and prepare for rapid changes in weather conditions.
