Cass County, Indiana – Crash Injures Juvenile, Joliet Driver Involved

Logansport, IN – A serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Logansport Road and County Road 600 East on Monday morning left one person injured.

According to Cass County Sheriff Ed Schroder, the crash occurred around 7:07 AM when a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by 25-year-old Brenden Corn of rural Logansport, failed to yield the right of way and was struck by an eastbound 2024 Kenworth semi-tractor trailer. The semi, driven by 49-year-old Juan Reynoso of Joliet, IL, was partially loaded with cargo.

A juvenile female passenger in the Tahoe sustained serious injuries and was transported to IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, IN. Alcohol and narcotics are not believed to be factors in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the office at 574-753-7800.
