Logansport, IN – A two-vehicle collision on Tuesday at the intersection of State Road 25 and County Road 300 South in Cass County resulted in injuries to two individuals and temporary road closure.
According to Cass County sheriffs police it happened at around 4:04 PM, when emergency services were dispatched to the scene where Caleb Criss, 20, from Logansport, driving a 2003 Infiniti, collided with a GMC pickup driven by Brett Bryan, 53, after reportedly failing to yield the right of way. The GMC was towing a trailer with two empty 1,000-gallon tanks of anhydrous ammonia, but fortunately, no hazardous materials were released.
Criss was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while Bryan received treatment at the scene for minor injuries. The crash caused significant disruption, blocking traffic for about two hours. Authorities have ruled out alcohol as a contributing factor and are seeking additional information from the public regarding the incident.
