Elkhart, IN – Bicyclist Killed in Collision with Teen Driver on C.R. 7

Elkhart, IN – A tragic collision in Elkhart claimed the life of a 37-year-old bicyclist, Morris Williams of South Bend, on Thursday night. 

Authorities reported that the incident occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. on County Road 7, when a northbound Ford Escape, operated by a 17-year-old Edwardsburg girl, struck Williams as he too traveled north.

According to Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, Williams was promptly transported to Elkhart General Hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing, as officials work to determine the factors that led to this fatal incident.
