Morgan County, IN – Morgan County commuters will need to plan alternative routes as State Road 44 has been closed due to issues with temporary traffic lights added for road construction. 

The stretch between Cope Road and Wampler Road is affected. Motorists are advised to seek different pathways until further notice. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is providing updates on the situation and has issued advisories to local residents and travelers through their social media platforms. 

As the community adjusts to the disruption, officials urge drivers to exercise caution and patience during the rerouting.
