Indiana: Colts Tight End Arrested on Alleged Domestic Battery Charges

Indianapolis, IN – Indianapolis Colts tight end Drew Ogletree was arrested on Friday for alleged domestic battery, facing two felony charges, including one count of domestic battery committed in the presence of a child under 16. 

According to the Avon Police Department, the incident occurred on December 26 at a local residence, resulting in one person being transported to the hospital. Ogletree, 25, turned himself in at the Hendricks County Jail, where he is being held without bond. Following the arrest, the Colts issued a statement acknowledging the serious nature of the allegations and their ongoing efforts to gather more information. 

The statement emphasized the team’s notification to the NFL and their commitment to addressing the situation appropriately. As the investigation continues, Ogletree’s participation in the upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders remains uncertain. The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed Ogletree’s current status in custody without bond.
