Indiana Traffic Alert: Major Crash on US 30 Causes Delays; Motorists Advised to Slow Down

LAPORTE, Ind. – A serious personal injury crash involving two commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) has shut down the eastbound driving lane of US 30 at its intersection with SR 39. Laporte County Sheriff’s Department is currently on the scene investigating. 

Eastbound motorists on US 30 are advised by officials to use the passing lane and to significantly reduce their speed when approaching the crash site. 

The Indiana Department of Transportation Northwest division is monitoring the situation closely. Travelers are urged to exercise caution.
