Indiana Woman Faces Felony Charges in Intimidation Incident

DEMOTTE, IN – Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies were summoned to a disturbance just north of DeMotte December 13th following an alleged intimidation incident.

According to police reports, Caitlin L. Kerulis, in a heated exchange, reportedly ‘wielded’ a 5.5″ knife while demanding transportation for alcohol or a shelter. The altercation at the residence ended when Kerulis left the knife on the deck before calling 911 for shelter information and reportedly hanging up. A knife was seized as evidence at the time of the incident. 

Kerulis was arrested on alleged Intimidation charges, a Level 5 Felony.
