Indianapolis, IN – A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with the alleged murder of his father, whose body remains missing.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), detectives arrested David Perry on June 1 for his alleged role in the murder of his father, Brandon Perry. The investigation began on May 29 when IMPD Missing Persons detectives started looking into Brandon Perry’s disappearance. Based on video surveillance, physical evidence, and multiple interviews, detectives believe Brandon Perry was killed by his son.
After consultation with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, detectives took David Perry into custody. On June 5, the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office formally charged him with murder and dangerous possession of a firearm. Authorities are working with multiple agencies to locate Brandon Perry’s body, which has yet to be found.
