Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident in Iroquois County Involving Morocco, Indiana Man

IROQUOIS, Illinois – A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred this morning at the intersection of Iroquois County 2900 E and 2600 N Road, resulting in the death of a Morocco, Indiana man.

According to Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police, the victim has been identified as 60-year-old Martin Perez. Perez, who was driving a Toyota Camry, reportedly failed to yield to an SUV, leading to the collision. The impact caused both vehicles to veer into a ditch, with Perez’s vehicle hitting a utility pole before rolling into a farm field.

The SUV’s driver, a Donovan resident, along with her two passengers, sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
