According to the US National Weather Service Northern Indiana, an Enhanced Risk (level 3 of 5) has been issued for areas west of IN-15. The severe storms are expected to organize to the west and move quickly into the forecast area overnight. The highest risk area includes major locations such as South Bend and surrounding communities.

The storms are anticipated to begin between midnight and 2 AM EDT Wednesday, continuing until sunrise. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions. The National Weather Service advises having multiple ways to receive weather warnings, ensuring that safe places are easily accessible, and staying weather aware throughout the night.
