New Chicago, IN – Drivers traveling on I-65 northbound in Lake County, Indiana, should prepare for potential delays as lane and shoulder closures have been announced.
Starting Sunday, May 12, the right lane and shoulder between Ridge Road and I-94 will be closed. According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), the closure, which will last until the end of May, is necessary for ITS and fiber optic repairs.
While ramp access will be maintained throughout the period, motorists are advised to allow extra travel time or seek alternative routes.
