Reynolds Station, KY – An investigation is underway by Kentucky State Police after an infant was reported missing in Ohio County. Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating the child.
Miya Tucker, an 8-month-old from Reynolds Station, was last seen with her parents, Tesla Tucker and Cage C. Rudd, both of Reynolds Station. A welfare check conducted on Wednesday led to the discovery that Miya was missing. Police arrested the parents following the welfare check on charges related to drug possession and child abandonment.
According to Kentucky State Police, Tesla Tucker, 29, was charged with possession of controlled substances, including fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, and abandonment of a minor. Cage C. Rudd, 30, faces similar charges, including possession of methamphetamine. Both are being held in the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.
Miya Tucker has brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow onesie. The authorities are urging anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Kentucky State Police post at 270-826-3312.
