Kroger Co terminates Bourbonnais employee following alleged racist remarks

Kroger Co. was quick in responding to allegations of a series of racist remarks by an employee late Sunday night of the Bourbonnais Kroger. 

Early this afternoon, corporate offices terminated the employee.

Around 10am this morning, Bourbonnais Kroger issued a statement locally to address the racist remarks at a local level by one of their employees Sunday night. “There is NO excuse for hate/racism…period.” the local Bourbonnais account on Facebook.

Due to recent events, Country Herald has chosen to not release the employees name.
