PEOTONE, IL – Peotone Tobacco & Liquor is counting its losses after falling victim to a smash and grab robbery Thursday afternoon.
According to Peotone Police it happened place at 2 p.m. when two individuals allegedly entered the store located at 422 S Governors Highway and made off with several bottles of alcohol without paying.
No total loss estimate has been announced.
Authorities are currently reviewing security footage and following up on leads to identify the suspects. Anyone with additional info is urged to contact the detectives at 708-258-3003.
