WATSEKA, IL – ATV owners in Watseka are on high alert following a recent incident that resulted in a total loss of a vehicle due to a fire. The estimated damage is around $7,000, with the ATV being completely burned up in the blaze.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The incident occurred at a garage located at 520 N. 2nd Street, where the owner of the ATV was able to get the vehicle out of the garage before the fire department was called. Thanks to the swift action of the firefighters, the fire was prevented from spreading further, though the garage did sustain minor damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Watseka Fire Department.
