MATTESON, Ill. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is currently on the hunt for two male suspects who robbed a bank in Matteson Saturday.

According to the federal agency, it began yesterday morning around 10:30 a.m. at the BMO Harris Bank located in the 4900 block of 211th Street. That’s when two suspects entered the bank and verbally demanded money, brandishing what appeared to be firearms.

Both suspects have been described by the FBI as thin, Black males. One suspect was seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie-style sweater paired with black pants featuring white stripes down the sides. The other suspect was observed wearing a dark hoodie-style sweater, dark pants, and dark shoes.

It’s unknown how much money was taken from the bank, however no one was uninjured in the robbery.

The FBI is urging anyone with information regarding the identities or whereabouts of the suspects to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
