Basement Fire in Addison, IL: No Injuries as Firefighters Quickly Contain Blaze

Addison, IL – A basement fire in the Kings Point subdivision resulted in no injuries, thanks to the prompt response of the Addison Fire Protection District #1.

The incident, occurring on January 16, 2024, was reported at approximately 11:01 am, with firefighters arriving by 11:05 am to a home filled with heavy smoke. According to a press release, the fire was confined to the basement and successfully extinguished by 11:21 am. All residents were evacuated safely and treated at the scene.
