Beecher, IL – A vehicular accident on Route 1 near Beecher resulted in one individual being hospitalized on Thursday afternoon.
According to local authorities, the collision occurred just after 3:30 PM when a truck attempting to turn left onto Route 1 collided with a semi-truck’s trailer, leading to the semi overturning. The individual in the turning truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital, while the semi driver was reported unharmed.
Traffic flow was interrupted for investigations but resumed normalcy around 5:30 PM as Illinois State Police continued their inquiry into the incident.
