Bourbonnais, IL – The Bourbonnais Public Library is reaching out to the community with a request regarding donations for their much-anticipated April book sale.

In preparation for this event, the library kindly asks patrons to note that they will not be accepting certain items this year, including encyclopedias, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, magazines, or textbooks. The designated donation days are April 6 and April 13 from 9 am to 4 pm.

As the sale approaches, with dates on April 17-19, book lovers can look forward to filling their shelves with a variety of reading materials offered at modest prices. The library encourages visitors to bring their own bags to take advantage of the $5 bag sale on the final day.

This event is more than just a sale; it’s an opportunity to directly contribute to the library’s array of programs and services, which are vital to the community’s educational and cultural fabric. The library expresses its heartfelt gratitude in advance to all who participate, emphasizing the collective effort to nurture the love of reading and learning in Bourbonnais.
