Bourbonnais, IL – The spirit of community shone brightly at Culver’s in Bourbonnais as they raised over $4,000 to support the family of Amari Crite.

The fundraiser, held Sunday in memory of the Momence High School freshman and basketball player, marked the one-month anniversary of her unexpected passing and showcased the strong bonds within the community.

According to Culver’s General Manager, Rachel Vandergriff, the success of the event is a testament to the community’s solidarity. “We raised $4,315 for the Crite Family! We are truly blessed to be able to support our community during troublesome times like these, but it is always rewarding seeing how our community comes together to support one another. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the successful day, and a special thank you to my team who works so hard day and day out!” said Vandergriff.

The funds raised will offer financial relief and honor the memory of Amari, celebrating her life and the joy she brought to her sport and community.
