Bourbonnais, IL – Man Arrested after Allegedly Injuring Crying Child while Babysitting

Bourbonnais, IL – A Bourbonnais man was arrested late Friday after allegedly abusing a crying child.

According to Bourbonnais, police reports, Nathan A. Spuehler, 23, was detained by local authorities on charges of alleged aggravated battery to a child. The arrest came after Spuehler allegedly caused physical harm to a child he was babysitting. The incident reportedly unfolded when the child began to cry, leading to actions that resulted in injury.

Spuehler was booked on charges Friday night on two charges including Aggravated Battery/Great Bodily Harm and Aggravated Battery to a Child. Spuehler awaits bond or a court appearance, the community has been alerted to this grave incident.
