Bourbonnais, IL – The University of Illinois Wheelchair Basketball team is gearing up for an exciting matchup at Adventure Commons, 70 Ken Hayes Drive in Bourbonnais, where they will take on the Kankakee Community College Women’s Basketball team and first responders from Riverside Healthcare, Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, and the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department.
The event, slated for April 5, 2024, opens doors at 5 p.m., with the game starting at 6 p.m. Attendees can enjoy raffle baskets, concessions, and a unique free throw game experience from a wheelchair. Admission is $5, while children five and under can join in the fun for free. Proceeds from the event will support local community services provided by Options CIL.
