The Bradley Police Department reported that during a critical medical emergency on January 15th, the swift and decisive actions taken by these individuals were vital. Officer Holmes, alongside the Gartners, administered CPR and provided essential first aid, maintaining the patient’s stability until the arrival of the Bradley Fire EMS, a move that was pivotal in the victim’s eventual recovery.

The ceremony highlighted the extraordinary courage and compassion exhibited by both the officer and the civilians. Their collaborative efforts exemplify the spirit of community and the profound difference immediate response can make in emergency situations. The recognition serves as a powerful reminder of the value of emergency response training and the significant impact it can have.
