Bradley, IL – Area residents are being cautioned to stay vigilant for counterfeit bills following a recent discovery by Bradley Police.
According to reports it happened Friday morning, around 10:00 AM when local law enforcement recovered counterfeit currency at a gas station situated in the 800 block of North Bradley Boulevard, as per reports from the Bradley Police Department.
Last year, over 200 people were arrested after nearly $22 million in counterfeit cash was seized nationwide. The discovery highlights a growing concern for both consumers, employees and businesses within the community, urging everyone to closely examine cash transactions. The Bradley Police have not yet announced any arrests connected to the counterfeit bills but are actively investigating the case to trace the source of the fake money.
