Manteno Public Works Department began setting up space for local restaurants and bars to hold business outdoors, beginning Friday.

The Village of Manteno and Manteno Chamber of Commerce is providing barricades, tables, chairs and picnic tables for area businesses to assist in allowing outdoor service.

“This has certainly been a team effort and we are happy to help our businesses in any way we can! We ask that patrons are respectful of all safety protocols,” The Village said in a statement released earlier today.

Illinois moves into Phase 3 as a state, beginning Friday.
