Joliet, IL – In an effort to address food insecurity, the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet announces its Mobile Food Pantry schedule for May 2024, aiming to bring sustenance to communities in need.Â
The service will be accessible at various locations throughout the month, offering groceries at no cost to individuals and families.
According to Catholic Charities, the mobile pantry will commence on May 3 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Joliet and will continue at different churches including Our Lady of Mercy in Aurora, St. Lawrence Catholic Church in South Wilmington, and others. The initiative targets the ease of food accessibility, placing importance on supporting the vulnerable sectors of the population.
