Ceiling falls on children in Kankakee

KANKAKEE – A small section of bedroom ceiling fell on two children early Wednesday night.

According to City Fire, it happened around 5:30 p.m. at a home in the 800 Block East Locust when a small part of drywall dropped from the ceiling.

The kids weren’t injured in the incident. Kankakee Fire Department reports Kankakee’s code enforcement has been contacted regarding the incident.
