Central Illinois Brace for Severe Weather on Tuesday

Lincoln, IL – Central Illinois is on alert as the National Weather Service warns of an incoming severe weather threat slated for Tuesday evening and into the night. 

Residents are advised to prepare for a combination of strong showers, thunderstorms, and gusty winds reaching up to 45 mph. The severity of the storms will depend on the earlier weather patterns on Tuesday, with the primary risk window identified during the nighttime hours.

According to the National Weather Service in Lincoln, the approaching storm system, part of a larger disturbance affecting the central United States, could lead to severe weather conditions.
