Central Illinois Weekend Weather: Sunny Skies and Rising Temperatures

Springfield, IL – Central Illinois residents can look forward to a mostly sunny weekend with temperatures climbing into the low 80s, providing a pleasant break from recent showers. 

While today sees some lingering showers near the Indiana border with temperatures in the mid-70s, skies will clear up as we head into the weekend. However, the National Weather Service warns of more rain expected on Thursday and Friday, with chances of precipitation peaking at 70%. 

Nights throughout the week will remain mild, with temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to low 60s. As the weekend approaches, the weather will improve, making it perfect for outdoor plans.
