Channahon, IL – Celebrating a milestone, the Pink Heals Joliet Area Chapter announces its 10th Annual Mother’s Day 5K Walk on May 12th, 2024. This special anniversary event welcomes both in-person and virtual participants to honor and support those affected by cancer.

According to the Pink Heals Executive Board, attendees joining in person should arrive at the Channahon Village Hall by 7:00 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 7:30 a.m. Virtual participants are encouraged to walk in their local area, sharing photos and videos to be included in a commemorative video. The focus is on supporting women and their families, not just causes, with a unique Pink Heals t-shirt provided for each participant.

Pre-registration is open until April 30th, with shirt pick-up available on designated days. The event also supports the maintenance of the chapter’s vehicles, which play a crucial role in their mission. Late registration details and contact information for virtual participant shirt delivery are available through the event’s communication channels.
