Chebanse American Legion Park Vandalized, Authorities Seek Information

Chebanse, IL – The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating vandalism at the Chebanse American Legion Park at 301 W. Fourth South St. over a week ago. 

Damage from the incident believed to have taken place during the overnight hours of Monday, April 3rd, and Tuesday, April 4th. The pavilion area suffered the most damage.

Authorities are urging anyone who has information about the incident to come forward and contact CrimeStoppers at 815-93CRIME. The investigation is ongoing, and tips provided to CrimeStoppers are anonymous and could result in a cash reward.

Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. 

The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department is committed to finding the culprits responsible for the vandalism and bringing them to justice.
