Chicago, IL – Severe thunderstorms are expected to redevelop Sunday afternoon and continue through the evening. The National Weather Service Chicago Illinois issued a warning for potentially severe storms that may bring damaging winds and hail, with a chance of brief tornadoes.

According to the National Weather Service, the most severe storm activity is anticipated between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. CDT on Sunday. Another period of severe weather is forecasted for Monday afternoon into the evening, with storms potentially producing strong wind gusts and small hail.
