Chicago Nursing Home Fire Sees Swift Action, 10 Ambulances

CHICAGO – Early Wednesday, just before 9 a.m., news emerged flames engulfed a nursing home at 3101 W. Touhy Ave. 

Firefighters from Engine 71 rushed to the scene, quickly working to contain the fire and ensuring all residents were safely sheltered. A massive EMS response saw 10 ambulances immediately dispatched, standing by for any potential injuries.
