Chicago Weather Alert: Scattered Showers and Cooling Temperatures Expected Today

Chicago, IL – Scattered showers and cooler temperatures are expected in the Chicago area today.

According to the National Weather Service, a cold front will move in this afternoon, dropping temperatures from the 70s to the 60s. There is a 15% chance of isolated embedded storms, but severe weather is not anticipated. Cooler conditions will persist into early next week, with highs reaching the low 70s on Sunday and Monday. Temperatures are forecasted to rise back into the 80s by Wednesday.
