Chicago Weather: Severe Storms Expected Over Memorial Day Weekend

Chicago, IL – A spring-like Thursday will give way to showers and thunderstorms as the holiday weekend approaches.

According to the National Weather Service in Chicago, there is a level 2 out of 5 risk of severe storms on Friday afternoon and evening. The weekend’s best weather is expected on Saturday, with additional storms anticipated Sunday. 

Memorial Day might see a few lingering showers, with temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the low 70s. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather forecasts and plan accordingly for the changing conditions.
