PONTIAC, IL – Livingston County has announced a massive e-recycle initiative, set to take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

The event, scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., will be hosted at the former Kmart parking lot on 1030 W. Reynolds St. While the county encourages residents to drop off unlimited items, it emphasizes that collection from homes or businesses is not available.

Participants are urged to remove batteries before submission. The initiative gladly accepts electronic goods ranging from computers to tablets, while items such as light bulbs and home appliances are listed as non-acceptable. Questions and volunteering interests can be directed to the Livingston County Regional Planning & Zoning Office.
