Skokie Man Behind Recent Aurora Library Bomb Threats?

AURORA, IL – Authorities issued an arrest warrant Wednesday for 23-year-old Jacob Spiro, suspected of orchestrating September’s alarming bomb threats targeting Aurora Public Library District buildings. 

According to Aurora police the threats forced evacuations of buildings on River Street, Constitution Drive, and Eola Road, though no explosives were discovered. Aurora Police, collaborating with NORTAF, pinpointed Spiro, a resident of Skokie’s Davis Street. 

Already facing two counts of Disorderly Conduct – False Bomb Threats, Spiro, currently detained in Cook County Jail on separate charges, may confront additional accusations.
