Elmhurst, IL – Glendale Heights Man Arrested After Menacing SUV incident with Firearm

Elmhurst, IL – A late-night altercation on St. Charles Road escalated into a severe threat when a Glendale Heights man allegedly brandished a firearm at occupants of a sedan. 

The Elmhurst Police Department was quick to respond to a 911 call reporting this dangerous pursuit early Tuesday, leading to the arrest of two men.Upon intercepting the GMC SUV on Palmer Drive, officers discovered a loaded Glock pistol inside the vehicle, stemming from a prior dispute in Bellwood. 

The driver, a 31-year-old from Glendale Heights, now faces aggravated assault charges, while his companion from Maywood is charged with disorderly conduct. 

As they await their court date in DuPage County, the principle of innocence until proven guilty remains paramount.
