GARY – The Lake County Sheriff’s Department, alongside the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary and the Lake Ridge Fire Department, invites families for a memorable Halloween Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Longfellow Elementary School, children up to 14 can dive into decorated patrol trunks brimming with treats. That’s not all! Pose with the SWAT truck, meet K-9 officers, and marvel at the Aviation Unit helicopter.
