PITTSBURG, Ill. – An unsettling burglary occurred at a Dollar General store in Pittsburg early Tuesday morning. 

According to reports it began about 2:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the scene after an alarm went off. The front doors and display cases bore signs of forced entry and damage. Surveillance revealed two individuals, both believed to be white males, slipping into the store and fleeing with stolen merchandise.
