Fire Erupts at Dr Pepper Building in Loves Park

LOVES PARK, Ill. – A fire broke out at the Dr Pepper building Friday evening, prompting a swift response from area firefighters. 

Among the first responders were the North Park Engine 801, M8, and C891, along with Loves Park Engine 1801, Quint 1854, and Battalion 18. Harlem Roscoe Ladder 2, Cherry Valley 501, MABAS 8 Mobile Ventilation Unit, and COQ Boone 2 unit 301 also joined forces to combat the inferno.

Details on the cause of the fire remain uncertain at this time, as the priority for firefighters is to control and extinguish the flames.
